Biography

Mandana is a business professional with over 25 years of diverse background & proven track record in project management, marketing and commercial operations in biotech, pharmaceuticals & medical devices working most recently as a Senior program manager at UCB (Formerly Zogenix).
Mandana received her Master of Business Administration in Marketing from University of Phoenix and her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. She has completed her PMP certification program from UC Santa Cruz in Santa Clara, CA and is also a Certified Scrum Master.

Mandana has always been passionate & involved in supporting different non-profits related to children, women, community-building causes, and project management. She is a board of directors’ member of BiopharmaPM as director of Marketing, she has been on the leadership team of the Iranian American Women Foundation (IAWF) NorCal chapter from 2016, and she was the chair of gPARS- a Diversity & Inclusion group at Genentech. Mandana was also a founding member and an active board of directors of the Persian Center, a non-profit Civic/community-based organization for 7 years.
She is passionate about strengthening the sense of trust, teamwork, and support of the Persian Community in the Bay Area and around the world for our children and future generation to come and she has actively been working on various projects and with different civic organizations to bring certainty to that presence. Her community involvement began with the Society of Iranian Professionals (SIP) in 1984 where she was a volunteer in the Iranian Support Committee addressing the needs of incoming Iranians in the Bay Area. In 1993, she was among the first volunteers and founding members of Persian Center. As the member of the board of Directors and capital campaign committee, she participated in raising funds to purchase and establishment of the Persian Center in Berkeley.

She lives in San Mateo and in her spare time she enjoys listening to music and audiobooks, walking her two German Shepherds, photography, and painting.
