Discounted tickets on sale now for San Francisco Iranian American Women's Leadership Conference 

Tickets for the Iranian American Women's Leadership Conference in San Francisco are now available for purchase at a discounted price. 

Tickets are only $150 each until April 10 when the early bird special ends. Once it ends, the price will go up to $225.

The Iranian American Women Foundation is making its debut in San Francisco on May 3rd at the San Francisco Airport Marriott Waterfront hotel. And true to its reputation, the conference will bring some of the Iranian American community's most accomplished and sought-after women from across America's most successful industries.

Spotlight Achievement: Homa Khamsi 

The Iranian American Women Foundation would like to congratulate San Francisco Committee Member Homa Khamsi for receiving the Excellence in Management Award from UC Berkeley's Chancellor. This is the second time Homa has received the award. Homa first received the award in 2002. 

Homa is Chief Administrative Officer of the Department of Chemistry of UC Berkeley and has received her BA degree in Sociology from National University of Iran and her MBA from National University of San Diego.

Minoo Behboody is the Founder and President of Lincoln Systems Accounting Corporation. Since 1985, Lincoln Systems had been providing full accounting and financial services to small and medium size businesses.  


Lincoln Systems Accounting Corporation's tax department prepares more than 600 Individual and business tax returns annually, and its audit department represents more than 30 cases annually for those who have tax-related issues with the Internal Revenue Services, Franchise Tax Board, State Board of Equalization and all other governmental agencies.

With decades of experience in journalism, communications and public relations, Homa Sarshar, Shoreen Maghame and Bita Milanian spoke to the power of developing and maintaining strong relationships and mutual understanding between companies and the public during the Iranian American Women's Leadership Conference in Los Angeles in November. 


They discussed how they mastered their writing, speaking, and media production skills to promote and sustain relationships with the public.


In the News: The Northern California Iranian American community celebrates International Women's Day March 6



The Iranian American Women Foundation would like to congratulate Mariam Bina for organizing the successful Party Bravo Weddings & Luxury Events Expo. The event was held Sunday at Hotel Irvine and featured more than 70 exhibits on event planning, catering, floral, design, cakes & desserts and jewelry, among others. Te event also featured a free seminar by IAW Foundation member Dr. Foojan Zeine.
