Haida Massoud-Mojdehi is a Press/Policy Liaison at the Office of San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders. She received her Bachelor’s degree with honors in Communication and a minor in Sociology at the University of California, San Diego and her JD degree from the University of San Diego School of Law. An active community activist and philanthropist for the past 15 years, she has served on various boards and is one of the co-founding board members of the Iranian-American Scholarship Fund and currently is the Co-chair of PAAIA, San Diego Chapter. She left Iran on the eve of the revolution, while still in high school and now resides with her husband and two children in La Jolla, California.
