Julie Ruehle was born and raised in Tehran, Iran and is a philanthropist through their family foundation, a board member of several not-for-profit organizations she feels passionately about, and a real estate investor who lives primarily in San Diego, California with her husband and twin daughters. Julie has completed a highly successful career in Finance including executive positions at companies such of Broadcom and other major US corporations. Having obtained her BBA in Accounting from University of Houston in 1991, Julie started her career with a big accounting firm and continued onto specializing in internal audit (focusing on compliance with SEC regulations, scalability in a growth environment, etc.) In 2009, Julie obtained her MBA from Pepperdine University in Malibu and started her boutique financial advisory firm (Ruehle CFO Advisory) with her husband focusing on early stage companies in the technology sector preparing for IPO. Concurrently, Julie founded another company, Ruehle Realty, a real estate investment company focused on luxury homes and condos across the US and Canada. She has been the Managing Director of that company establishing and executing the strategies and managing the day to day finances. Julie and her husband have their private family foundation (Julie & Bill Ruehle Foundation) focusing on animal protection and safety, health issues and children’s welfare where she serves as the Executive Director as well as the Chairman of the Board. Furthermore, she has been volunteering in committee roles of other charities focusing on animal rescue as well as fostering animals in her home.
