Biography

Next to Oprah Winfrey, Nava Ghalili was the youngest television news anchor in American history. Nava is an Australian, Iranian-American Emmy-nominated television journalist and has been a motivational speaker since the age of 13. She works with international entities as a consultant to minority Middle Eastern media entities that aim to empower the voice of women and children. She has also trained war journalists and human rights activists in the Middle East. An education curricula developer in her own right, she works with teenagers in at-risk neighborhoods to help them develop their potential as positive movers of society. Speaking at more than a dozen international conferences and television programs, the Harvard-educated young woman of 27 years of age, belonging to a religious minority group, has traveled to 27 countries to unveil the truths of pressing moral issues through multi-media platforms. She is now entering an arena to work as both a journalist and political consultant on issues of human rights and media empowerment.
