Biography

Nina Ardalan is a trial attorney. Born in Houston, TX and raised in Irvine, CA; Nina’s passion for justice originated as an undergrad at the University of San Francisco (USF), where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. Thereafter, Nina moved to Washington, D.C. where she lived and worked in a homeless shelter run entirely by former residents. Her endeavors led her back to school where she obtained a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Southern California (USC). During graduate school, she interned for the Orange County Public Defender and discovered her professional calling, trial work. After USC, Nina joined AMERICORPS as a Volunteer In Service To America (VISTA) working for a nonprofit devoted to rehabilitating homes for the disadvantaged. Continuing her education, she went on to earn a Juris Doctorate from Golden Gate University School of Law with a specialization in Litigation with Distinction. During law school, she awarded a Witkin in Trial Advocacy, a CALI in Guerilla Lawyering, and clerked for the San Francisco Public Defender as a Certified Law Student appearing in court.

Nina currently serves as a member of the Youth Committee for the Iranian American Women Foundation, and as member with the California Women Lawyers, the Orange County Lavender Bar Association (OCLBA), the California Public Defenders Association, and IABA.
