Biography

Azadeh received her Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and her J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law, where she studied in the law school’s London Program. In London, Azadeh interned with leading English criminal defense firm Tuckers Solicitors, as well as with major international law firm WilmerHale in its international commercial arbitration practice. Prior to her work at Dadgostar Law, Azadeh worked as a law clerk at a firm specializing in insurance defense litigation. Before that, Azadeh served as a federal judicial extern to the Honorable Earl H. Carroll, Senior United States District Judge for the District of Arizona, where she gained a rare “insider’s” perspective into the courts and litigation, helping to review briefs, researching and writing about complex legal issues, discussing the merits of motions, and gaining an understanding of lawsuits from the court’s point of view as well as how best to present oral and written arguments, helping to draft briefs, discussing the merits of motions, and learning to understand lawsuits from the judge’s point of view.

Outside of the courtroom, Azadeh enjoys choral singing and has been an active member of the Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic’s first choir of Legal Voices, where she has performed at the Walt Disney Concert Hall and Shrine Auditorium to raise funds for the Shriners Hospital for Children and for pro bono projects of the Los Angeles County Bar Foundation and the Beverly Hills Bar Foundation. These followed a previous vocal performance Azadeh delivered at a Pepperdine function honoring U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts. Azadeh also currently serves as a member of Farhang Foundation’s Fine Arts Council.
