Caroline Nasseri

Caroline J. Nasseri was born in Tehran, Iran and completed her high school education and graduated from Tehran International School, Iranzamin. She moved to California in 1980, where she studied French and Economics at Santa Clara University. In 1984, Caroline continued her education at Santa Clara University Law School and Business School, graduating in 1988 with a Juris Doctorate (J.D) and Master of Business Association (MBA). After graduation, Caroline began working as an associate attorney for insurance defense law firms. During this time, she earned valuable legal experience at two firms: the Law Offices of Ropers, Majeski, Kohn & Bently and the Law Offices of Eugene Flemate. In 1992, Caroline began working as an associate attorney for the Law Offices of Habbas & Nasseri. She became a partner in 1996. With almost 28 years of practice and being one of the first, if not the first Iranian American woman attorney in Northern California, today, Caroline Nasseri is a partner at a law firm with over 26 attorneys and employees. She serves clients throughout the Northern California concentrating her practice on torts and personal injury areas. With a strong background in insurance defense, she has a deep understanding of the insurance industry and common defense tactics employed by insurance companies. Some of her primary practice areas are: catastrophic injuries, construction accidents, premises liability, product liability and wrongful death. In 2000, she was named as one of the Silicon Valley's Best lawyers by San Jose Magazine. As part of her commitment to serve her community through out the years, she has volunteered her time for the Santa Clara County arbitration panel and superior court, has been involved in the past with fundraising and bringing awareness to the Assyrian American Association of San Jose, is a current member of the American Bar association, Iranian American Bar Association and Santa Clara County Bar Association. She is currently active with the Northern California Chapter of the Iranian American Women's Foundation with emphasis on programming the future speakers and events.
