Maryam Rostami is an assistant professor of Human Development , education and early childhood in Los Angeles Trade Tech community college and has been a mentor for college students. She received her B.A and M.A degree from Pacific Oaks college in Pasadena. She finished her doctoral degree program in education from Pepperdine university of Graduate School of Education and Psychology in Summer 2014 . She is currently working on her dissertation which is about “The Motivational Factors of Higher Educated Iranian Immigrant Women: A phenomenological study of Iranian women and influences on achievement and work-life integration in the United States”.
