Melodi Miremadi is an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and Juris Doctorate (JD) candidate at Loyola Law School ‘21. Melodi currently serves as the International and Domestic Space Programs Contracts Manager, and ASC 606 (Revenue from Contracts with Customers) Subject Matter Expert at L3 Technologies.

Melodi was born and raised in Iran. With limited knowledge of English and minimum exposure to other cultures, she left her friends and family behind in pursuit of freedom of expression as a woman. As part of her journey, she spent some time in Dubai and almost a year in Hungary before entering United States in 2007.

Not knowing English and coming to the states when the economy was in recession, finding a way to support her ambitions did not come easy. Melodi started as an independent sales agent for a credit card processing company, iPayment Inc. and quickly advanced to an Account Executive role, where she was in charge of recruiting, training and managing over 30 sales agents at a time. Prior to joining L3 Technologies, Melodi lead the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Reporting department of Harrah’s Properties, Las Vegas, overseeing compliance requirements for sectors in U.K., Israel, Belarus, Ukraine and Canada. Melodi graduated with a degree in Economics and Accounting from University of California, Santa Barbara in 2012, and is expected to graduate from Loyola Law School in 2021.
