Pantea Bozorgfar is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a MA degree from Santa Clara University. She has extensive experience treating depression, anxiety, grief and loss, parenting, youth and family issues, immigration/multicultural problems, and trauma, with advance EMDR training.
In addition to her private practice in San Jose, she is also the psychotherapist at Grace Adult Day Health Care (ADHC,) one of the largest and most effective geriatric health centers in Northern California which enrolls more than 250 participants, of which almost 80% are Iranian elderly. Adult Day Health Care program is a licensed medical program by California Department of Public Health that helps adults with physical or mental impairments continue living in their own homes and avoid premature or inappropriate institutionalization. At GADHC, Pantea provides couples, and individual psychotherapy services.
As an adjunct professor, Pantea also leads a Group Therapy Lab class in Santa Clara University Counseling Psychology Masters Program.
