I was born in Tehran, September 1983. . I received my first bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Bioelectronics, from Iran. I immigrated to the United States to continue my education. After immigrating, I was able to apply for post-baccalaureate status at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). I received my second bachelor’s degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from CSUN . I was awarded Scholarship through CSUN and UCLA for stem cell research. I was accepted into the PhD program in Biomedical Engineering at UC Irvine and I am currently PhD candidate at UC Irvine in Cardiovascular Tissue Engineering.
