As a student at the University of California, Irvine, Nasim Bolandparvaz is currently double majoring in Political Science and Business Management. Nasim is a young entrepreneur with a background in politics, non-profits, as a radio co-host, and the legal field. As an enthusiastic freshman in college she joined multiple non-profit organizations both on campus and in the community, helping the non-profits thrive through fundraisers and proper marketing. As the youngest co-host for an Iranian American podcast show in Northern California, Nasim was able to bring a younger perspective on pressing issues the Iranian American community was facing. Her position as a co-host and news anchor on the podcast ignited a passion within her to look further in the realms of Political Science and Legal Studies. In the summer of 2012 Nasim expanded her horizons by receiving a fellowship from NIAC, facilitating her transition into the political worlds, serving as an intern in the United States Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship. Upon returning to California, Nasim landed an internship in a small Law Firm in Costa Mesa where she assisted in daily office tasks and gained further insight in the official processes of legal work. At the age of 20 Nasim had gained enough experience to know where her strengths were, and started her own small business, focusing on event coordination with branches in Southern and Northern California.
