Biography

Tasha has a strong background working in food, product development, event planning, and agriculture. Early in Tasha’s career, she worked as a seminar coordinator for a Bay Area business consultant and pioneered the first “ghost kitchen” in Santa Cruz County before the term was coined over a decade later. Tasha also created a line of organic and holistic pet products when her college graduation gift, a corgi puppy, exhibited signs of food allergies. Many of the ingredients used in the product line are grown on Tasha’s small farm outside of San Diego. Concurrently to pet food production, Tasha managed and carefully curated several farmers’ markets in San Diego County. Through her work as a farmers’ market manager, Tasha had the pleasure of mentoring veterans via Archi’s Acres Institute; and mentoring youths via partner programs administered by the International Rescue Committee, FACES for the Future, and San Diego Workforce Alliance. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Tasha pivoted from farmers’ market management to agricultural regulatory compliance as the program coordinator for the San Diego Region Irrigated Lands Group where she addresses all facets of program administration for over 1200+ enrolled farmers.
