On August, 2010, Rebecca Mahboubi stared her year and half long journey in a 45 ft sail boat, from the unknown Northern Sea of Norway, aiming to cross the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean as the first female Iranian Women explorer. Rebecca is an entrepreneur and co-founder of American Bagel Company, and Bagel & Juice Cafe`, a company that started a whole new trend across Norway. For this, she won and received the best Business Awards from the prince of Norway and earned a place in history among the top ten most successful International women in Norway. Prior to her success as an entrepreneur, Rebecca received her Airline transport pilot licenses, (which is only 1% women in all of USA hold this certificate ) and worked as a commercial pilot for over 7 years in United States. Rebecca immigrated to the United States as a teenager who did not speak English. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from University of Colorado. She has a nonprofit organization called MAD (Make A Difference) to empower those in need. She is committed to unleash the power of physical body; she promotes the need to free ourselves of the fear of the unknown but yet embrace it, Think it, Dare it and Be it is the message she passionately lives and shares.
