Fay Arjomandi, has about 20 years of experience in Telecommunications, software design and development and wireless protocol development. Throughout her career, she has served in various C–level executive roles covering engineering, strategy, operations, product development and marketing. She is currently serving as Executive Chair of H2 Wellness, Inc., leading product strategy and development of mimik, and advising StudyTracks and a couple of other startups.
Prior to these; between Aug 2014 – Oct 2016, she served as Senior Vice President – Product Strategy of Nantworks LLC, a group of software companies in Genomics, served as the Chief Executive Officer of NantMobile, a machine vision software platform company, and Tensorcom a WiGig Fabless Semiconductor Company, and also served as a member of Wibbitz. From Jan 2011 – Jul 2014; she served as the CEO of Vodafone xone, the global venture, incubation and new product delivery for Vodafone Group, a Board Member of Vodafone Global Enterprise Inc., and President and Chair of Vodafone Americas Foundation and also served as a board member of MEF.
Prior to these positions, Ms. Arjomandi gained extensive experience in managing and operating companies of various size and stage, including co-founding three technology startups that built location-based services (L3 Technology) and mobile quality of service improvement platforms (Mobidia) and mimik in decentralizing cloud platforms. She has authored 14 patents [involving], among other things, Telecommunication, Transport Layer Protocol, Mobile Traffic Management QoS and Distributed Cloud Computing. Ms. Arjomandi holds her Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from Concordia University.
In 2018 she won Concordia university Alumna of the Year Award, which celebrates a graduate who has demonstrated professional excellence and community leadership. In 2014, she was named as one of the most influential women business leaders in Silicon Valley by San Francisco Business Week, and in 2006, received the distinguished Business In Vancouver’s “Top 40 Under 40” award presented to outstanding leaders in their chosen fields.
