Dr. Saba Torabian received her PhD in Child and Human Development at the University of California Davis where she worked with children between the ages of 8-16 who were affected by autism and ADHD. She received her first Master’s degree from San Francisco State University in Social Psychology and her second Master’s degree from UC Davis in Child Development. Saba is currently a psychology faculty of the Department of Psychology at San Jose State University where she formed her own autism research lab with the primary goal of understanding the epidemiology and etiology of autism and risk factors related to having a child or children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Saba is mother of two boys on the autism spectrum, Cameron and Ryan Bassiri, who are the inspiration behind all her efforts.
