| Biography | Sara Jazayeri Sara Jazayeri is the Co-Chair of the IAWF New York Chapter, where she launched monthly mentorship sessions to connect mentors and mentees, fostering a supportive community for women. A passionate advocate for education and professional growth, she has dedicated her career to mentorship, leadership, and creating opportunities for the next generation. Originally from Iran, Sara grew up in Paris, France, earning her Master’s degree in Architecture before relocating to the United States, where she worked at the United Nations and later completed a business degree at Columbia University. She made history as the first female President of AIA Bronx since its founding in 1931, leading initiatives that support students and emerging professionals. As the Founder and Principal of Studio 360, an architecture and interior design firm based in New York City, Sara has over 20 years of experience designing high-profile projects internationally. She champions flexible, innovative business models that empower women, offering remote and adaptable work environments to support architects balancing career and family life. Sara is also an adjunct professor at Pratt Institute and CCNY, where she helps students bridge the gap between education and real-world practice. She frequently speaks at architecture and design conferences and co-authored the Amazon best-selling book “City Shapers” in 2023. Her work has been featured in Architectural Digest, Dwell, Architect, and Home Remodeling, and she has received multiple NY Mayoral Service Recognition Awards for her community impact.
