Shahla Sohi brings more than 25 years in diverse accounting and financial management experience to her role as a professional accountant. She has had extensive experience working in Iran, the U.A.E., and the United States. She has started to work as a capital project accountant since she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Cost Accounting for the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) and National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC). Shahla became one of the first Iranian women who held the CFO position of Governmental Accounting Controller. She oversaw and trained 250 employees throughout her ten years. She has experience working with the Foreign Currency Exchange Market (FOREX) in Royal Index LLC and Capital Market Solutions in Dubai. From 2009 in the USA Shahla gained instrumental accounting experience through a variety of companies and CPA firms located in Los Angeles and Orange County. She went on to continue her education and receive numerous other accounting degrees and certificates. In 2012, Shahla became a Registered Tax Preparer for the IRS and the State of California and started her own accounting firm; specializing in services for small to medium-sized businesses. She has expertise in providing comprehensive accounting services, including individual, corporate, partnership, and nonprofit income tax returns and audits, compilations, payroll tax reports, and Software Implementation She was previously a Board Member and the Treasurer of Network Iranian American Professional of Orange County (NIPOC). She has been a very active member and the Accountant of the Iranian American Women Foundation since 2011. Shahla believes that her mission in life is to help others with the knowledge and experience she has gained throughout her years.
