Biography | Dr. Shokooh Miry is a clinical psychologist specializing in the treatment of mood, anxiety, and personality disorders in adolescents and adults. She holds degrees with honors from UC Berkeley and Stanford University. She completed a fellowship in medical psychology at Duke University Hospital in 2008 and a fellowship in clinical psychology at Stanford University School of Medicine in 2010. Dr. Miry specializes in evidence-based treatment. Her prior clinical research focused on dialectical behavioral therapy for mood and personality disorders. She is currently in private practice in San Francisco, where she works with individuals and families. In addition to her work as a psychologist, Dr. Miry serves in leadership positions and sits on the board of directors of several high impact, non-profit organizations, including: Lone Mountain Children’s Center, National Iranian-American Council, San Francisco Ballet Auxiliary, and Alpha Omicron Pi International Fraternity. |
