Susan “Suzie” Price began practicing law in 1999. She has been a prosecutor for over 18 years, spending the bulk of her time prosecuting homicide cases in both the Ventura and Orange County District Attorney’s offices. She currently serves as an Assistant District Attorney overseeing he operations of the North Justice Center branch of the Orange County District Attorney’s office. On April 8, 2014, Suzie ran for and was elected to the Long Beach City Council. As a Councilmember, Suzie serves as the Chair of the Public Safety Committee, the Los Cerritos Wetlands Authority, the Alameda Corridor Transportation Authority and the Vice Chair of the Economic Development and Finance, and the Tidelands Committees. She was also instrumental in starting the first Iranian Persian American Association in Long Beach and bringing an annual Norooz celebration to the Long Beach City Council.
