I was born in Tehran and moved to England with my parents at the age of 4 so my father could finish his post graduate work in medicine. We moved back to Tehran after two years, where I attended Community School and studied English and Farsi until the 11th grade, at which time the revolution forced us to migrate to the United States. I completed high school and went on to college to study Early Childhood Education. I am married with two children and currently work as a Registered Interpreter within the California court system, as well as freelancing with many agencies throughout the world.
