Mentees Program

Only current legal residents or citizens of the United States are eligible.

The IAWF Mentorship Program offers Iranian American students and young professionals between the ages of 17 and 32 the chance to connect with experienced professionals in their field of interest. Through this 10-month program, participants will receive support and guidance to help them achieve their professional and personal goals. Successful applicants will be paired with a mentor who will provide guidance and support throughout the program. In addition, IAWF staff will provide orientation, ongoing support, and logistical assistance to ensure that participants have the resources they need to succeed in the program.

What is expected of mentees:

  • Accept the relationship for 10 months.
  • Have regular meetings with mentor.
  • Meet with mentor either in person, with phone meetings, or with video meetings.
  • Set goals and expectations with mentor.
  • Follow through on any commitments made.
  • Complete IAWF’s mentorship exercises with mentor.
  • Evaluate the relationship at various points throughout program.
