Angella Nazarian is a noted speaker and best-selling author of three books: Life as a Visitor, Pioneers of the Possible: Celebrating Visionary Women of the World, and Visionary Women. Angella is the cofounder of two non-profits: Looking Beyond, an organization that raises awareness and funds for special needs programs and hospitals in the Los Angeles area. She is also the co-founder of VISIONARY WOMEN, a non-profit women’s leadership organization in Los Angeles that brings together some of the most dynamic thought leaders in the country together for in depth conversations. Visionary Women’s funds are targeted toward supporting Women’s initiatives both nationally and internationally. Angella’s passion for women’s empowerment has led her to become a member of Women Moving Millions: a global community whose members pledge at least $1 million dollars to organizations that benefit women and girls. A former professor of psychology, she continues an active role in education, where she has served as a trustee at Brentwood School and on the Parent Advisory Board at Stanford University. Angella and her husband have also founded The Nazarian youth leadership program in Los Angeles, and the Nazarian Social Impact series at Wharton at the University of Pennsylvania. She is involved in other charitable organization such as: The Hammer, Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA , and The Los Angeles County Museum of Art. She has been featured in Manhattan Magazine’s “Power Women” series, and Angeleno Magazine’s list of Top 12 Philanthropists shaping Los Angeles. She lives with her husband in Los Angeles and are proud parents of two sons.
