Biography

Camilia Razavi is a former White House intern in President Barack Obama’s Domestic Policy Council and Office of Social Innovation. Camilia is an advocate for diplomacy and worked on securing the Iran Deal through community organizing. A graduate of UC Berkeley’s political science program, Camilia has published articles on nuclear weapons, Iran, and U.S. foreign policy. Camilia has been an active volunteer with Moms Against Poverty for eight years. Currently, Camilia serves as operations associate and assistant to the executive director of Ploughshares Fund. In response to President Trump’s executive orders on immigration, Camilia and her sister, Kayla, organized the #NoBanNoWall mass protest in San Francisco’s civic center that brought 10,000 people out to protest and was covered by major local and national news networks. Camilia, along with her co-organizers are in the process of developing an organization to fight for social justice in the new administration.
