Katy Harandi is the mother of two, one of whom has autism. In order to expand existing services for families living with autism, she co-founded PALS Autism Society which provides specialized education to children, adolescents and young adults with autism. She is the CEO and Board President of Canucks Autism Network, a non-profit charity delivering sports, social and training programs for children and adolescents living with autism across British Columbia. She was the YWCA 2012 Women of Distinction nominee for her contributions to the community and recipient of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal for service to Canada. Katy is a member of the Vancouver Board of Trade Women’s Leadership Circle, the Sauder School of Business Women’s Leadership Council, board director the Adam’s Apples Foundation and the Stanford University Alumni Club in BC. She received her B.A. from Stanford University in Computer Science and MBA from the Sauder School of Business.
