Ladan Mohtasham is an artist, poet, author, translator and mother of two. Born and raised in Tehran, Ladan made California her home in 1983. She continuously shares her biggest passion of raising awareness about Autism, and helping families whose lives are touched by this fascinating gift. She is an active contributor to Talk About Curing Autism (TACA), pioneering in early intervention programs for autistic children and untiring efforts for enriching the life of their family members. Ladan believes in a purposeful and dignified future for autistic adults, and is passionate about building strong supportive communities to ensure an atmosphere of independence and safety for them. “Disability is not a sentence!
