Ms. Vokhshoori was born in Tehran, Iran. During the revolution, her family left the country and she lived in France until she immigrated to the USA in 1983. Her educational background is in International Business and Human Resource Management. Her unique leadership style and talent to assimilate with different cultures has been instrumental in her successful career at Nordstrom and currently at Neiman Marcus.

Ms. Vokhshoori has over 25 years of management and retail experience. Through out her career, Leyla has worked in numerous philanthropy projects assisting the Orange County Museum of Art, the Guilds of Orange County, the United Way, and the Sophisticates. She has helped and mentored many leaders both in retail and other businesses. In October of 2011 Ms. Vokhshoori joined the Neiman Marcus Group as Vice president / General manager.
