As a young girl in Iran, Maggie Garemani lost her parents and was sent to America under the care of her siblings. It was while trying to find her own place in a foreign land without any real familial support, that Maggie accessed the strength of character and resilience that allowed her to overcome countless obstacles throughout her life. She later returned to Iran and formed the first women’s spa and health club and then, returning home, she started Fitness by Maggie. While facing her own life’s challenges, she created a process, a gift, she now shares with many others. She is a strong woman with a heroic attitude, using her process to carve out a unique life. A life that combines the healing power of nature’s mountains, streams, and trees and the inherent healing power in human nature to show other young women how to find that same ‘gift’.
