Biography

Mina Amir-Mokri is a partner in the Business Law Department of Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP. She has represented executives, public and private companies, tax exempt organizations and various bankruptcy constituencies in the negotiation, design, and drafting of executive compensation arrangements, stock option and other equity plans, retirement plans, employment and other related agreements. She has also represented clients on benefits and compensation matters in mergers and acquisitions, and has experience conducting internal investigations, and representing clients before the U.S. Department of Labor, the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation, and the Internal Revenue Service. Prior to entering private practice approximately 13 years ago, Mina was an auditor with the U.S. Department of Labor – Employee Benefits Security Administration, where she conducted civil investigations, and with federal prosecutors, criminal investigations, involving employee benefit plans. Mina received her M.S. in Accountancy and J.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She received her B.A. in History from the University of Chicago.Mina is a member of the board of directors of the Public Affairs Alliance of Iranian-Americans (PAAIA).
