Dr. Mitra Mogharabi Ardehali is an educator, philanthropist and avid supporter of women’s causes. She obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from UCLA, where she pursued her undergraduate studies in Microbiology.
For over three decades, she has been seeing patients at her private dental practice, while also teaching as a valued faculty member at UCLA School of Dentistry. At UCLA, she has taught clinical and didactic sections of dental medicine as well as licensure exams for out-of-state and foreign graduate dentists, showcasing her commitment and passion for dental education. She has moderated and led panels for aspiring and current dental students, as well as fellow faculty at UCLA School of Dentistry.

Dr. Mogharabi is a member of the Board of Counselors at UCLA School of Dentistry, where she serves on the Leadership Committee within the Board’s purview. In addition, she served as the Chair of the Parent Council for five years at Barnard College, Columbia University while her daughters attended the school. She also served as the Chair of the Barnard Gala in 2017, contributing to fundraising efforts for the advancement of women in STEM.

Her impact extends beyond her career and leadership positions. As an esteemed lecturer, speaker, and moderator, she has shared her valuable expertise and insights at dozens of events and panels on a wide range of topics. Her passion and support for women’s causes is evident through her commitment to numerous organizations such as Women & Philanthropy at UCLA, Alexandria House, and Visionary Women.

She is currently on the Board of Brentwood Park Property Owners Association where she resides with her husband, Dr. Abbas Ardehali, and their two daughters. She continues to make a significant impact in the field of dentistry and women’s causes through her leadership, advocacy, and philanthropy in her community and beyond.
