Parastoo Golesorkhi Zahedi is a licensed attorney in the state of Virginia. She has been practicing as a solo practitioner since 1993, dealing exclusively with matters in the area of Immigration & Nationality Law. Parastoo represents both businesses and individuals in immigration matters throughout the United States before the United States Department of Homeland Security, United States Department of Labor, U.S. Department of Justice Executive Office of Immigration Review and the United States Department of State.

Parastoo served as the DC Chapter President for the Washington DC Chapter of American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) from 2007 to 2008. She is a frequent speaker at conferences on the topic of immigration law, and serves as the AILA Liaison with government agencies. She is also an AILA Mentor in the area of Asylum & Refugee Law for other immigration attorneys. Parastoo obtained her Juris Doctorate Degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 1988.
