Biography

Parisa Saed is a Doctor of clinical psychology, a journalist, a radio and TV director and producer. She began her career as a talk show host in 1984 in Houston, Texas and then in Los Angeles, all the way to the Middle East. She was the first female producer of many live socio-culture TV programs with a studio audience and panel discussion in Los Angeles, California. This platform provided an excellent realm for discussion of significant issues pertaining to the Iranian immigrant community. Parisa Saed’s international accomplishments involved producing and directing a social program documenting and highlighting sensitive issues about women and children welfare televised on Saudi Arabia’s national TV. Through this medium, Dr. Saed was able to conduct intensive research on such issues as women empowerment, youth depression, addiction, polygamy and Its Impact on the Mental and Emotional Health of Children.
