Biography

Roxie has served as the Program Manager for the National Institutes of Health’s Office of Acquisition and Logistics Management’s Professional Development Program (Group & Executive Coaching, Mentoring Program, Marketing & Outreach) since October 2021. She joined NIH in 2019 as the Program Manager for the Management Intern Program at the NIH Training Center. From 2014-2019, she was a law librarian at the United States Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division, and served as a detailee in the Office of the Inspector General and Civil Rights Division. She is an alumni of DOJ’s senior leadership program, LEAP (Leadership Excellence & Achievement Program) and elected co-chair of the LEAP Alumni Council. During her time at DOJ, she also served as the Training Coordinator and the Internship Coordinator for DOJ Libraries. Prior to joining DOJ, she was the Acting Director of Prospect Research at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, aiding in fundraising efforts for scholarships and educational programs in underserved communities.
She received her Bachelor of Arts from the Evergreen State College in Psychology, and her Masters in Library Science with a focus in Reference & Instruction from Simmons University.
She serves on the Board of Directors for the Asian/Pacific Islander Domestic Violence Resource Project (DVRP), a non-profit organization in Washington, DC .
