Saman received her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, Robert H. Smith School of Business where she was President of the Iranian Students’ Foundation and an active alumna of the Iran Cultural and Educational Center. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law. Following law school she was Law Clerk to the Honorable Eric M. Johnson at the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland. Saman worked at National Geographic Channel in Washington, D.C. prior to moving to New York City to work at Viacom. She is currently Director of Business & Legal Affairs at National Geographic Partners in New York, where her practice is focused on television production and international publications licensing deals. Her interests outside of work include helping send foster children to summer camp as President of the Junior Board of The Felix Organization.
