Biography

Sarah Farhadian is a Principal at Farhadian Law P.C. She has nearly a decade of experience working in the real estate practice groups of globally recognized, large law firms in New York City, including Vinson & Elkins, Paul Hastings, and Akerman. She is recognized as a top attorney in the area of real estate, including by Elite Lawyer, and has advised on transactions worldwide involving the purchase, sale, construction, financing, development, management and operation of and investment in commercial, industrial, retail, lodging and residential projects. She is an active member of the Cardozo Alumni Association and the Iranian American Women’s Foundation. Ms. Farhadian has also served as Legislative Director and General Counsel to U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz. She obtained her law degree cum laude from Cardozo School of Law, where she received the ALI-ABA Scholarship and Leadership award and served as Editor-in-Chief of the Cardozo Arts and Entertainment Law Journal. During law school, she interned in the Office of Vice President Joe Biden and in the Office of Public Engagement at the White House.

Prior to law school, Ms. Farhadian was a copywriter at political consulting firm OMP, and also wrote copy for James Carville’s book, Forty More Years. During college, she interned for Senators Hillary Clinton and Ted Kennedy. Ms. Farhadian earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, in Politics and Latin American and Latino Studies from Brandeis University. She is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.
