Soheila Nuveen-Motamed is the Program Manager at Boeing Satellite Systems, in El Segundo, California. Soheila started her career in Aerospace industry in 1980 after graduating from USC with a BS in Electrical Engineering. She worked at Lear Siegler Corp. and then Hughes Space and Communications in El Segundo where she participated in design and development of Satellites including DirectTV.

In 1996 she moved to Seattle to work at Teledesic, founded by Craig McCaw, and Bill Gates, to support development and manufacturing of Teledesic systems, nick named, “Internet in the sky”, to provide internet to all corners of globe.
While in Seattle, she experienced a life changing event that changed her life for ever. In an attempted robbery that went awry, she was shot execution style in head and neck, with one of the bullets lodged two inches deep into her brain, leaving her to fight for her life. She has used her experience to help and inspire others to deal with adversity in life.
