Biography

Yasmin Khorram is a San Francisco-based Field Producer for CNBC where she covers technology and business news.

Prior to CNBC, Yasmin was an Emmy nominated producer for CNN Tonight with Don Lemon. Yasmin joined CNN in 2010.

During her tenure at CNN, she worked on several prime time shows and written numerous high-profile stories for CNN.com. Yasmin’s experience includes coverage of the 2016 presidential election where she produced live shows for the political conventions, debates and the inauguration.
Yasmin also produced several exclusive stories for the investigative unit during the Pulse Nightclub terror attack in Orlando and the Chattanooga shooting rampage. She was also the first to interview crew members on the ill-fated El Faro.
She contributed to CNN Style where she covered a variety of events including The Oscars and New York Fashion Week. She’s written a variety of stories including an exclusive on the high end Beverly Hills boutique where Paul Manafort shopped.
As a multimedia journalist, Yasmin’s work appears across all CNBC and CNN platforms: television, digital, and mobile.
A graduate from Whittier College where she majored in Journalism and World Affairs, Yasmin launched the school’s first television station and has been invited back to her alma mater as a guest speaker.
