HOMAIRA AKBARI

IAWF is pleased to announce that advisory board member Homaira Akbari has been appointed to the boards of directors of two world-class corporations. In December 2012, Homaira was appointed to the board of directors of Landstar System, Inc. (NASDAQ: LSTR), a non-asset based provider of integrated supply chain solutions. Landstar is headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida. In 2012, the company’s annual revenues totaled $2.8 billion.

Recently, she was also appointed to the board of directors of Gemalto N.V. (Euronext NL0000400653 GTO), the world leader in digital security. Gemalto, headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, had 2012 annual revenues of €2.2 billion and has more than 10,000 employees in 43 countries.
